Dragonflies aren’t just beautiful—they are some of the most skilled flyers in the animal kingdom! With almost 360º vision thanks to their compound eyes, they can hover, fly in any direction, and even travel thousands of miles without landing. Some species have been known to migrate across the ocean, making them one of nature’s most remarkable travelers.
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate—embedding fascinating facts like these directly into my artwork.
For this Dragonfly piece, I carefully selected words like colorful, mysterious, and elegant, along with phrases such as “born underwater,” “spend most of their lives in the larval phase,” and “symbol of rebirth, strength, courage, happiness, transformation.” In total, you’ll find over 20 words and phrases hidden within the design, each one celebrating the beauty and symbolism of this mesmerizing insect.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
