HOW A STORY BECOMES A PICTURE
One letter at a time.
Until there’s an image.
Curtis begins by researching the subject—its history, character, surprising details and the words people connect with it most.
Then he draws every letter individually and places each word with intention. Some pieces contain more than 200 words; others took 60 hours to complete.
The result is part artwork, part story, part puzzle—and always a conversation waiting to happen.
