Did You Know?
The Bichon Frise is always white in color, and its name comes from the French phrase meaning "curly-haired small dog." With their fluffy coats and playful personalities, these cheerful companions have been beloved pets for centuries—and even performed as circus dogs due to their intelligence and trainability!
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate—embedding fascinating facts like these directly into my artwork.
For this Bichon Frise piece, I carefully selected words like adorable, charming, and clever, along with phrases such as “good with kids,” “lovers not fighters,” and “were circus performers.” In total, you’ll find over 40 words and phrases hidden within the design, each one celebrating the playful and affectionate nature of this delightful breed.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
I truly hope this piece brings you as much joy as I had in creating it!
