The marlin is one of the fastest and most magnificent fish in the sea — an apex predator built for speed, power, and grace. Found in tropical and temperate waters around the world, marlins can reach speeds of nearly 60 miles per hour as they slice through the ocean, their long, swordlike bills leading the way. Known for their strength and beauty, these “blue-water legends” have captured the imagination of anglers and ocean lovers for generations.
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate — embedding fascinating facts like these directly into my artwork.
For this Marlin piece, I carefully selected words like majestic, migratory, and untamed, along with phrases such as “Leaps Above Waves,” “Lives in the Open Sea,” and “Blue-Water Legend.” In total, you’ll find over 50 words and phrases hidden throughout the design, each one honoring the marlin’s strength, elegance, and fearless spirit of the deep.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
