This one had a different feeling from the beginning.

The Hummingbird gave me words like Beauty, Blessing, Comfort, Grace, Hope, Joy, Loved, Messenger, Miracle, Peace and Wonder.

Then I also had the details of the bird itself: Hover, Nectar, Ruby Throated, Spider Silk, Tiny Eggs and Wings Beat Very Fast.

I used 62 different words and phrases and spent 13 hours drawing them into the finished bird.

I like that someone can choose this piece simply because they love hummingbirds.

But for someone who connects a hummingbird with Hope, Comfort or a Messenger, the words may make it mean something more.
