I am not sure any phrase could beat “Sea Potato.”

The Manatee gave me a word list that was hard not to like.

Aquatic Angel. Big And Sweet. Gentle. Endearing. Lovable. Peaceful. Playful. Soft Eyes.

Then I got to Sea Potato.

I used 65 different words and phrases and spent 14 hours drawing them into the finished Manatee.

There is also Slow And Steady Heartbeat, Cousin Of The Elephant and No Natural Predators.

This is one of those pieces where the closer look kept making the subject more endearing to me.
