Did You Know?
Not all Black Bears are black—some can be blonde or cinnamon! Born blind and tiny, they grow into powerful, curious, and intelligent creatures known for their ability to climb trees, swim, and live in harmony with nature. Though often solitary, they are deeply resourceful and have roamed North American forests for thousands of years.
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate—embedding fascinating facts like these directly into my artwork.
For this Black Bear piece, I carefully selected words like resilient, cautious, and peaceful, along with phrases such as “symbol of strength and courage,” “loves berries,” and “marks its territory with scent.” In total, you’ll find over 45 words and phrases hidden throughout the design, each one honoring this majestic forest animal.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
